Marian Catholic downs Joliet Catholic 56-38. The Spartans of Marian Catholic used a stifling defense to get an early lead against Joliet Catholic. With a 16-8 lead at the end of the 1st quarter, Marian continued to defensively suffocate Joliet while going into halftime with a lead of 26-11. In the second half, the Angels of Joliet Catholic competed and knocked down some 3’s but weren’t able to put much of a dent in Marian’s lead. Jalynn Alexander of Marian led all scorers with 18 points.
