PROSPECT SPOTLIGHT-Nora Ezike
Prospect Spotlight:
2025 6’2 F Nora Ezike came into the summer with a lot of momentum and buzz after her sophomore campaign at Lyons Township. She’s continued her upward trend over the summer as she did during her high school season. Ezike affects the game in a plethora of ways on both ends of the floor.
Offensively, Ezike is still developing her skill set but she’s still impactful. She plays with a high motor which allows her to get offensive rebounds and keep possessions alive for her team. She finishes well around the basket and her best offensive attribute may be her ability to run the floor in transition. Her athleticism usually trumps her defenders, making her a difficult cover for her opponents.
On the defensive side of the ball is where Nora leaves her mark when playing. She uses her size and length to control the paint by altering shots and rebounding the ball. Ezike can guard multiple positions, with the ability to switch out on quicker players using her good lateral movements.
She also is effective jumping passing lanes and getting steals. Because Ezike does so much for her team, she never really has a bad game. As she continues to grow her game, Nora’s trajectory will continue to point north.
