2022 G Lilly Null did a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor. She aggressively drove the ball to the basket and welcomed the contact while finishing at the rim. She handled the ball well and made plays off the dribble for her teammates. She also stepped out and hit the perimeter shot. Defensively, she did a good job boxing out and rebounding the ball. Null did all of the intangibles at a high level.
2022 G Mikayla Huffine has a great showing. She has the ability to handle the ball very well. Her speed plays a big role in her overall game. Mikayla has a great IQ and is always looking to get her team involved. We loved the way that at such a young age Mikayla is very mature on the court. We are definitely looking forward to her growth as a leader and player.
2022 5”0 PG Nyla Walker showed why she’s one of Illinois top PG’s in her class. Being extremely fast and athletic, Nyla showed the ability to score in multiple ways. Nyla scored off the screen, as a set shooter, getting to the basket, and having a great mid-range pull up. Not to be mistaken, Nyla definitely sets her teammates up in places where they can be most effective as all good pg’s can do.
2022 F Katie Krupa was impressive during the showcase. She showed a variety of skills, which included posting up, shooting the jump shot and even facilitating at times. She finished with both hands around the basket and rebounded the ball well on the defensive end. Katie’s upside is through the roof!
