Uncovered Prospects 2020 showcase evaluations for the 2021 class in no particular order.

2021 5’10 F Autumn Jones has all the right tools. Autumn can rebound, defend, and score around the rim. Autumn is tough and will go for every loose ball. One thing she does very well is provide energy! Autumn has the ability to knock down the open jumper, and has great leadership qualities. One area of improvement for Autumn is her ball handling.

2021 5’9 G Jayiona Cobbs is super athletic with a ton of upside. She is crafty when attacking the rim, and has a silky smooth jumper. Jayiona is long and can defend multiple positions on the floor. She has a quick first step and can create her own shot. Jayiona needs to use her length more and improve her rebounds.

2021 5’9 G Takiya Howard is a big guard and a bully on the court! She showcased the ability to score it from the perimeter, as well as on the block. Her size and strength was too much for opposing players at times as she was able to move players around on offense and defense. She had a good midrange game and made crisp passes through traffic. She was one of the better rebounders in the showcase regardless of position. Would love to see her make more plays off the dribble for herself with her nice handle and also expand her shooting range.

2021 6’1 F Annaliese Griffin can do it all! She showcased her complete game with the ball in her hands and off the ball. She was a matchup problem for opposing players as she took smaller defenders to the post and bigger defenders she beat on the perimeter. She hit shots from deep, as well as facilitated the offense while making plays for her teammates. She rebounded the ball well, blocked and altered shots. She guarded multiple positions without any issues. Would love to see her continue to enhance her ball handling and develop a few more post moves.

2021 5’9 F Lauryn Hilliard was able to use her strength and muscle well at the showcase.   She rebounded well and positioned herself to get rebounds for her team. She played physical in the paint on both ends of the floor and also showed a nice touch from the midrange area. Would like to see her work on her footwork in the post, as well as ball handling to help better her offensive game.

2021 5’4 PG Samara Swire showed why she’s a true point guard and a leader. She was able to get in gaps while driving and make plays for her teammates. She was fearless on both sides of the ball and surprisingly was one of the better rebounders in the showcase. Swire defended well on the ball and moved good laterally. She showed a good midrange shot also. Would love to see her expand her range and consistently hit the three point shot. Also, be more confident in her ability to make plays with the ball in her hands.

2021 5’9 G Leia James left it all on the floor at the showcase. She was one of the hardest working players in the gym and she played with tons of energy while sacrificing her body. She let the game come to her and didn’t force anything. James showed the ability to hit the three, as well as make plays with the ball in her hand. She defended well and rebounded both ends of the floor. Would like to see her handle the ball more and be confident while dribbling.

2021 G Tahlor Sutton showed that she can score the ball in a large variety of ways. She can score with her quickness, off the dribble, off the screen or just muscle through her opponents. She also has a knack for getting to loose balls. Would like to see her more under control when attacking high traffic areas.

2021 6’2 F Claudia Gallegos showed that she is a high energy player that continuously runs from rim to rim. She can shoot the ball from all 3 levels,as well as rebound and alter shots. Would love to see her be more consistent.

2021 5’10 F/C Destiny Hamilton showed that she can rebound the ball in bunches, as well as be a defensive centerpiece by altering and blocking shots. She was able to causing deflections in the passing lanes with her length & athleticism. Would like to  see her be more assertive on the offensive side of the games.
