10/18/20 Example Sports T.A.P. Write Ups
While covering the Example Sports “Train and Play” workouts that they have been hosting on Sunday, here are a few players that shined during this Sundays (October 18th, 2020) workouts.
2023 G/F Skye Echols showcased the ability to attack the basket in transition. Finished through traffic with both hands and was fearless on defense. Showed quick hands and kept the ball alive on offense. Also rebounded the ball very well.
2023 PG Azyah Newson Cole played the point guard position at a high level. She created off the bounce and also made plays for herself. Had an excellent pull up game and made the right pass when given the opportunity. Was a lockdown defender on everyone she guarded!
2023 G Brianna Hill did just about everything! She did a bunch facilitating and her plus/minus was off the charts. She made some incredible plays off the dribble with counter moves for defenders that played good defense. Rebounded the ball on both ends and played good defense while guarding multiple positions.
2024 G Madison Yacobozzi was very efficient throughout the day. She knocked down open shots, scored with the ball in her hands and even made some plays for her teammates. She positioned herself well on defense and was effective on the glass. Overall she had a really good showing.
2022 PG Nyla Walker stood out and was very flashy with her moves. She was relentless whenever she attacked the basket and finished over and through defenders. Her shiftiness and counter moves made it hard for opposing players to stay in front of her. She also was phenomenal when guarding on the ball.
2021 G Faith Davis shot the lights out for the entire day and it didn’t matter if her shot was open or contested. She was dialed in when coming off screens, as well as pulling up in transition. She showed why she’s one of the top shooters in her class and an elite one for sure.
2023 F Sanai Tyler did all of the dirty work and did it with ease. She had no problem banging in the paint with other bigs and she rebounded everything. Her ability to keep plays alive and create multiple possessions was showcased every game. She blocked and altered shots and even switched onto perimeter players on defense. Tyler did a great job pushing the ball on the break and finished in traffic. She had an excellent showing!
