UP Unsigned Michigan Watch List
The UP Michigan watch list was created to spotlight a few of Michigans unsigned top high school girls players. To begin this article we start offwith a very talented player in 2022 6’0 Ruby Whitehorn of Detroit Edison High School. Ruby has picked up some pretty impressive offers this year including, Rutgers, LSU, Oklahoma, Florida, Mississippi State, Kentucky, and UNC, and has a host of other offers including hometown schools Michigan, and Michigan State.
2023 6’0 Macy Brown of East Grand Rapids had a really good spring/ summer playing for MBA. Macy has offers from, Loyola Chicago, Central Michigan, Michigan, Nebraska, Michigan State, and Northwestern.
2022 5’8 Lexus Bargesser of Grass Lake High School has really made a huge impact in 2020 picking of offers from a ton of schools... Including Illinois state, Providence, Butler, Kent State, Indiana State, Loyola Chicago, Xavier, Cleveland State, Illinois, Boston College, Miami University, West Virginia, Marquette, Virginia Tech, Michigan, Maryland, Indiana, Louisville, DePaul, Nebraska, and UNC.
2022 5’10 Rakiyah Beal of Detroit Edison is starting to pick up traction this year getting offers from Xavier, Illinois, West Virginia, North Dakota, Texas Tech, and Saint John. Rakiyah also has offers from Eastern Michigan, and Depaul.
2022 5’9 Mya Petticord of Forest Hills has had quite an impressive year. Picking up offers from Penn State, Mississippi State, Pittsburgh, LSU, Kentucky, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Virginia, and Virginia Tech. Other offers from early on include Michigan, and Ohio State.
2023 6’5 Faith Carson of Buchanan HS is starting to pick up a ton of traction with offers from Michigan State, Western Michigan, Xavier, Detroit Mercy, Bradley, and Pittsburgh. Faith is also getting a ton of interest from some top schools.
2023 6’3 Sarah Rambus of Flushing HS had a nice spring and summer picking up offers from North Dakota, Illinois, Indiana State, Toledo, Western Michigan, Vanderbilt, Detroit Mercy, and Michigan State.
2022 6-1 Madisen Wardell of Detroit Edison has really started to come one of the top kids! Madisen has offers from Eastern Michigan, Michigan State, Depaul, Oakland University, Temple, & Illinois.
2022 5’10 Taylor Anderson of South Lyon East HS is definitely one to get on your recruiting board. With offers from, Central Michigan, Bradley, Toledo, Oakland University, Eastern Michigan, North Dakota, Western Michigan, Detroit Mercy, North Carolina A&T, & Texas Southern. She will definitely be looking to have another breakout year.
2022 6’0 Faith Walker of Forest Hills Northern is starting to create a buzz, with offers from Detroit Mercy, and Austin Peay, you can bet that Faith will be picking up more offers soon. Coaches get on this one fast!
