2020 5’6 G Jenna Badali is poised and ready to lead Mother McAuley in a year where the expectations are high for the Mighty Macs. The Macs finished second in state and a large part of their success was due to the emergence of Badali. Entering her final year of high school, Badali will be the main focal point of a talented McAuley team and at the top of opposing teams scouting report. The Lewis commit impacts the game in a variety of ways. Offensively, she plays much bigger than her stature and has a relentless aggression about her game. Jenna is fearless when attacking the basket and is able to finish with both hands. She also stretches the floor with her ability to knock down the three point shot, which allows her to get to different spots on the floor without problems. Badali also uses her high IQ to read defenses and facilitate for her teammates. Defensively, Jenna can be a menace for the opposition. She guards full court for the entire game and is always willing and ready to take a charge. To the surprise of many, Badali rebounds the ball very well for her size. This allows her to start the transition quicker for her team. Jenna is definitely a “ lead by example “ type of a leader and her team always follows suit. On the eve of the high school season, be on the lookout for Badali and the Mighty Macs of Mother McAuley.
