2022 6’1 F Brianna Wooldridge is poised and ready to have a huge summer. Wooldridge is coming off a sophomore season that included transferring to Lincoln Way West High School(IL), as well as playing in the state championship game. Brianna was an integral piece to the success of West and just the player they needed to get them over the hump. Wooldridge was able to fit right in because of her unselfishness. She’s a team-first player who always makes the right play. Her ability to score in the paint and also from the perimeter is an asset that she obtains. She’s relentless when driving to the basket and uses her size to finish through contact. She’s able to beat slower defenders off the dribble and post up smaller defenders. Wooldridge can also step out and hit the three which makes her a tough matchup for bigs. One of her best assets is her fearlessness and willingness to bang in the paint. She does a great job using her strength and quickness to position herself for rebounds. Brianna also has the ability to push the ball up the floor, which allows her teammates to get points in transition. Wooldridge is a high IQ player with plenty of room to grow and always ready to learn so expect her to be even better in her final two seasons. #@briwooldridge #@UP
