2021 6’1 G/F Annesah Morrow has all the tools and looks ready to put them on display in her junior year at Simeon Academy(IL). After a year of playing while recovering from a knee injury, Morrow is healthy and that could get scary for opposing teams. She has a rare mixture of size, speed and athleticism to go along with her ball handling that equates into a matchup nightmare on the court. At 6’1, Annesah usually towers over guards and she uses her strength and physicality to score when driving to the basket, as well as posting up. She also does a good job finishing through contact. Offensively, Morrow can and will at times play all 5 positions, which is a luxury for her team and allows them to attack teams in a variety of ways. In one possession she can be facilitating for her teammates and another she can be the recipient of a teammates pass. On the defensive end, Annesah can also guard all 5 positions. Her ability to defend quicker guards and switch onto bigs makes it tough on opposing teams and allows them to be more aggressive defensively. Morrow rebounds the ball at a high level and is great at turning defense into offense with her ability to push the ball in transition. She’s also a plus shot blocker and is able to alter shots at a high rate. It’s safe to say that Morrow is the glue to her team and a major reason why Simeon will be tough to beat this season.
